Partial Payout

Partial Payout

Partial payouts are common in Real Estate.

Start by entering the full amount of commissions expected over time and ensure Agents are allocated the full amount they will receive on the allocations page.

Review the fees associated as you may or may not want to take additional or partial payment of fees on each payout.

To partially pay a deal, head to the payout commissions page and expand the line item to override the commissions and fees. Once you pay it out Loft will create a new payout line for the balance owing that will remain as a payable until the final payout is made.

For reporting purposes only the paid commissions and fees will be reported.

It might be a good idea to change the closing date the date you will receive the final payout rather than the date you receive the first partial payment.
