Xero Connecting/Disconnecting

Connecting to Xero

  1. Go to Integrations > Xero in your Loft47 account.
  2. Click the green "Connect Xero" button.



3. Select your organization — in the authorization prompt, choose your brokerage name from the "Select another organization" dropdown.



💡 If you have connected before, you may see an option to "Continue with 1 Organization" — make sure you select the correct one.

4. Follow the login prompts to authorize Loft47 in Xero. Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to the Loft47 > Integrations > Xero > Activity page.

5. Click the blue "Sync Xero" button.

⚠️ Important: You must click Sync Xero after connecting and before running any new batch process.
Allow the sync to fully complete before proceeding.


6. Confirm the sync is complete — the Last Synchronized date field will display today's date.
If the field is blank or shows no date, Xero has not been fully synced. Re-click the Sync Xero button and wait for it to complete.



Disconnecting Xero

⚠️ Note: Disconnection must be done from within Xero, not from Loft47.

  1. Go to www.xero.com and log in with your Adviser credentials.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Connected Apps.
  3. Click Disconnect next to the Loft47 application.








      4. In the "Disconnect app?" popup, select Other as the reason and click Disconnect App.



5. Repeat steps 3–4 until all instances of Loft47 have been removed from Connected Apps.


⚠️ Important: Make sure all instances of Loft47 are disconnected. Leaving any active instances may cause sync conflicts when reconnecting.
