Setup a new QuickBooks Online Account

Sign up for QuickBooks Online

!!Your QuickBooks Online account must be Plus or Advanced subscription level for it to correctly integrate with Loft!!
  1. Select the Create an account link.
  2. Enter your email address and phone number. Note: If you see a "This user ID is already taken" message, you may already have an account. Select the 'I forgot my User ID or Password' link and enter your email address.
  3. Create a password.
  4. When you're ready, select Create Account.
  5. We'll send you a link with instructions to verify your email address. Then you're all set.

Add a Chart of Accounts

You can add your own Chart of Account or one that we provide.  Learn more about adding a chart of accounts to QuickBooks Online If you use our Chart of Accounts, codes are already provided so you can skip to the next section.
!!Important!! Your GL's MUST have code numbers associated with them in order for them to be recognized in Loft, learn more about GL code #

Offices

Skip this if you are a single office Brokerage, if you have multiple offices that require tracking, you must create your offices in your QuickBooks Online account in order for them to be tracked in both apps.  Learn more about Office tracking in QuickBooks Online. After you setup your tracking, make sure to set the following settings in categories for proper tracking.

Taxes

If applicable, set up your tax rate in QuickBooks Online
