Weekly Pulse Check - How to Validate your Report's Data and Brokerage Income

Weekly Pulse Check - How to Validate your Report's Data and Brokerage Income

Loft now sends out a weekly report, each Friday, providing a quick snapshot of what your Brokerage's activity has done over the week. In this article, we'll go through how to validate the data for each Report's section. Please navigate through each of the tabs per Report Section.

Admin/broker contacts are the contact types who receive weekly communication, which is an option in the user notification settings.

Definitions:
** Company Income: Loft distinguishes between income type deductions and those that do not contribute to earnings like charity fees. To accurately predict Brokerage income, ensure your Deduction templates are set to both type income and Ledger type income.

** Closed Deals: Closed deals are based on a close date in the report range. If your deal has not been assigned a closed at date, this count will be off.

** Payouts Completed this week & Agent Payout Counts: The count per transaction NOT per deal. So if you have 3 Agents on one deal you will see a count of 3, rather than one. To see the total amount of deals closing for the period you can view the closed deals counts.

If you would like more detail on income to the Brokerage can look at either the Brokerage Income report or the Performance report.

The Brokerage Income report is using the close date for the deal and NOT the transacted at date. This report will show income to the company by Agent, by deduction and by office.

The Performance report now includes a new column, Q, on the payroll details called "Deduction Income". This is the portion of the total deductions taken on an Agent payout that contributes to Brokerage income.
