How Loft works with SkySlope

The Skyslope integration will save you time by eliminating the need for duplicate data entry.
Watch how the Loft and Skyslope integration works
To begin, ensure you are a Skyslope Administrator for your Brokerage and EACH user has enabled and connected Skyslope in Loft.
Enable Integration
In Loft, enable the integration by navigating to the Integrations Menu
Click the Edit button
Expand the Skyslope section
Check the Skyslope Enable checkbox
Choose a time frame selection from the 'Import Dotloop Loops from' dropdown field.
This will ensure only relevant loops within that time frame are available for importing to Loft.
Click the green 'Save' button
Connect Skyslope App
To connect to the Skyslope App in Loft, you must first generate their API & Secret Keys.
Generate Skyslope API & Secret Generated Keys
Head to SkySlope>My Account
Click the Integrations tab
Click Generate button to generate the API Key & Secret & download or save that information for the next step.
This will generate your Access & Secret Key, you can either copy each key or download the keys.
Add Skyslope API & Secret Generated Keys to Connect
Head back to Loft47>Integrations & select the SkySlope menu and click Connect SkySlope.
You will be prompted to enter your Access Key & Secret from the previous step.
Once you have completed this step, you are connected to SkySlope!
Load deals from SkySlope
To import deals follow the steps below or watch here:
Navigate to your Integrations/Skyslope page
Click Reload button to load your deals into Loft.
Please note, this will just load all available deal, within your outlined time frame set above, into Loft. You can choose which deals to create deals from—there's no need to act on every deal immediately or at all.
Create a Deal
Navigate to your Integrations/Skyslope page
Click on the deal address in your Integrations/Loops page to open the mirrored skyslope deal's detail page and to enable the option to create the deal.
Click on the blue 'Create' button to create the deal.
Click the blue 'Reload' button if you've added data to the deal in skyslope after the deal loaded into Loft. Please note: certain deal creation requirements must be included in the Dotloop loop.
Click on the deal address in your Integrations/Loops page to open the mirrored skyslope deal's detail page and to enable the option to create the deal.
Click on the blue 'Create' button to create the deal.
Click the blue 'Reload' button if you've added data to the deal in skyslope after the deal loaded into Loft. Please note: certain deal creation requirements must be included in the Dotloop loop.
Requirements to create a deal
The following are required to import a deal in Loft:
- SkySlope transactions must have an Agent on the transaction.
- The deal in SkySlope can not be expired (close date in the past).
- Your agents emails must match across both software apps.
- In Skyslope, each loop MUST have a unique MLS #. If you do not have a unique MLS number for the transaction we suggest using the Zip Code twice, or another unique number of your choosing.
Re-Syncing a deal
If you would like to re-sync any transaction you have already imported into Loft47 you can click on the transaction that has already been imported, and the click Sync - this will import the information again. Loft47 will keep track of the initial deal creation as well as any subsequent syncs.
Contact importing
New contacts will import along with your deal in SkySlope, see field mapping below. Existing contacts in a deal in SkySlope will update if you add them in exactly as the contact is in Loft. Example. In the deal below, we added Bronson Blueberry with the co broker company as Blueberry Real Estate Ltd
The organization name matched exactly and was then imported into the deal like so
So as long as the names match exactly, your co-broker contacts will merge to their respective org profiles in Loft. If you find they're not matching, we suggest you check the spelling on the contact in skyslope and make sure it doesn't have superfluous spaces, punctuation, etc.
Preventing Duplication from Skyslope Contacts
You can either manually add or import your commonly used contacts into skyslope so that these contact populate (when typing) in the field for your agents to select.
Add Contact
Head to your skyslope's login Icon found in the top right of the app
Select My Account
Select the Tab Directory
Click the button Create Contact
Add your Contact and Save
Import Contact
Follow the same steps above to Select Directory Tab
Click the Import Multiple Contacts button
Click the Download Sample File button
Fill in the file with your contact's information and when ready
Click the Start Upload button and follow the prompts
