Once your brokerage administrator has enabled the current year tax reporting, agents can access their 1099 / T4A directly in their Loft47 profile.
To find it, log in at app.loft47.com and go to My Profile. Scroll down to the Tax Return section, expand the dropdown, and select the applicable year.
If you don’t see a year listed in the dropdown, please contact your admin and ask them to enable the available tax years in the brokerage settings.
This will start your return's download, you can download the 1099 / T4A as many times as necessary (in the event it is misplaced) as long as your Brokerage has enabled the tax year.
Q: Will updating an agent's profile deductions affect their 1099 or T4A?
If I update an agent's profile deductions and remove the previous split/deductions from their profile, will their past earnings still be included on their 1099 or T4A?
Answer
Yes. The 1099 / T4A report pulls its data from the historical records of closed transactions, not from the agent's current profile configuration.
Updating or removing an agent's previous commission split /deductions only affects future transactions. Earnings from previously closed deals remain unchanged and will continue to be included on the agent's 1099 or T4A.
