Adding Deduction Fees to Agents Profiles and Overriding levels

In order to automate fees on commission earnings you'll need to add fees to an Agents' profile in Loft.

Open the Agents profile and scroll down until you see the deductions section. From here you will be able to add new deductions or change any of the existing deductions on your agent's profile.  Please note that archived fees will not be available and team fees will only be accessible to those Agents that are currently active on a team

To add, click 'New' in the Deduction section of the Agent's profile

Add the deduction from the dropdown, for this example, we're adding 'Office Split'

Please note, newly added profile deductions will not populate on a deal until you've added it manually, this will populate a manual deduction and a profile deduction, remove the manual one and click the 'Update button. This said, the profile deduction will populate on any newly created deals. Also to note, profile deductions cannot be deleted from deals until they are removed from the profile they, however, can be overridden to $0 if they don't apply to the deal.

Overriding Profile deductions

All deduction added to an agent's profile can be modified within the profile. To do this, click on the pencil next to the fee, in this example, we'll be using the same deduction as above.

In the Edit Agent Deduction page, click New to change any of the preset amounts and/or overrides

Change the values to your desired overrides, click save to update the change if just changing one level, if multiple levels are required, click 'New' and add another level.

Click save and you're done!

To remove a Deduction Fee from an Agent profile simply click the trashcan icon.
